SINGAPORE – In 2023, Singapore fell deeper and deeper in love with carbohydrates. What grew out of comfort eating during the bewildering early days of the pandemic continued unabated.
Baking bread, cakes and cookies at home during Covid-19 lockdowns was a way to de-stress, to have something to do when going out was discouraged.
