SINGAPORE - Local companies are feeling the squeeze from all sides, with soaring oil prices leading to higher utility and transport costs while rising freight costs and shipping delays from supply chain disruptions are piling on the pressure.

Oil has been rising steadily as countries emerged from the Covid-19 pandemic only to have prices supercharged by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
