Shefali is the Asia News Network editor at The Straits Times. Asia News Network, which ST co-founded in 1999, is an alliance of 20 news titles in 19 countries. Shefali joined ST in 2000 and has written widely on regional and global affairs. She was the editor of ST’s Asian Insider title and led efforts to build a few international partnerships. She holds a master’s in public administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore.
