Karina is Indonesia Correspondent for The Straits Times. She previously worked at Amnesty International Indonesia as well as The Jakarta Post and Rappler Indonesia, where she covered politics and human rights issues. Karina, who has an accountancy degree from Nanyang Business School, worked at an accounting firm in Singapore before going into journalism. She also holds a master’s degree from Columbia Journalism School.
