Christopher Tan

Senior Transport Correspondent
He has been a journalist with Singapore Press Holdings since 1983. He has held various jobs, including page design, sub-editing, magazine work and running a photo desk. But his real passion is writing, specifically about motoring and transport. This passion led him to do a Master of Science in Urban Transport Management with Singapore University of Social Sciences at 50. He is Senior Transport Correspondent with The Straits Times, and has been running a weekly motoring section since 1989.
The Singapore Tourism Board is working with the People's Association to set up counters at community centres. Seniors can go to the counters, where ambassadors will help them make their redemptions and purchases.
