SINGAPORE – The Porsche Macan Turbo, which I test-drove in Germany in October, was truly impressive. Quick, fast, stable and surprisingly comfortable – often at unmentionable speeds as well as on twisting mountain roads that you will never encounter in Singapore.
For a reality check, an international car review is always followed up by a local drive when the new model arrives. This is because a car which excels on an autobahn and surprisingly well-paved B-roads may not shine as brightly when driven at home.
