She started as a journalist in 2015 at The New Paper, before graduating from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a bachelor’s in anthropology and law, and a master’s on the social impacts of technology. Qing is passionate about telling stories about vulnerable, voiceless and forgotten people and things. She was a co-host for Green Trails, a 2024 podcast special series.
