Who's coming for the White House state dinner for PM Lee: Guest list of Singapore and US attendees

US President Barack Obama hosts Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to a state dinner at the White House on Tuesday evening (Wednesday morning Singapore time).

The black-tie banquet will feature 200 guests such as prominent US politicians and members of the Singapore delegation, including Cabinet Ministers Vivian Balakrishnan, Chan Chun Sing and Ong Ye Kung.

On the US side, prominent political attendees are US Vice-President Joe Biden, Secretary of State John Kerry and Secretary of Defence Ash Carter.

Others include celebrated American author Amy Tan, former Democratic representative Gabby Giffords and AOL CEO and chairman Timothy Armstrong.
