US says 'not clear' if Iran exerting control over rebels in Yemen

WASHINGTON (REUTERS) - It is "not clear" to the Obama administration whether Iran is exerting control over Houthi rebels in Yemen, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said on Friday.
The Prime Minister of Yemen, Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, resigned on Thursday over pressure from the rebels.
