Trump open to 'modified success' at Singapore summit; outcome could be a peace treaty

WASHINGTON - Potential outcomes from next week's groundbreaking United States-North Korea in Singapore remain ultimately uncertain, but it is clear that President Donald Trump is prepared to be flexible in his meeting with Mr Kim Jong Un.

"I think we will have a terrific success or a modified success," Mr Trump told journalists at the White House alongside Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe - who extracted a promise from the US President that he would raise the issue of Japanese abductees at the June 12 summit.
