North Korea scores with White House visit, but will still be nuclear on June 13

WASHINGTON - The United States-North Korea dialogue saw its biggest breakthrough in almost 20 years at the White House on Friday (June 1) when President Donald Trump received general Kim Yong Chol, the right-hand man to leader Kim Jong Un.

Whether a more substantive breakthrough occurs in Singapore on June 12 when the two leaders meet remains to be seen - and President Trump is clearly taking care to manage expectations.
