WASHINGTON - Standing on stage behind Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf as he spoke at a small protest in May in Grand Rapids, Michigan against state Governor Gretchen Whitmer's stay at home orders amid the Covid-19 pandemic, was a burly man in typical civilian-militia garb, with an assault rifle.
