AUGUSTA, Maine – Ms Alexis Cook, whose ex-navy father worked as a farmer, used to run around the family farm in idyllic rural Maine as a little girl, jumping into ponds and climbing trees.
She, her three sisters and one brother had chickens they named Henny, Penny and Jenny.
