Investigators are still looking into the cause of a massive fire at a recycling plant in Southern California on Friday (Oct 21).
Local media say the fire broke out around 4pm near the LA-Ontario International Airport.
Large plumes of smoke were seen billowing out of the facility which, according to local media, processes bundles of cardboard and plastic water bottles.
One witness described it as "a scene from hell".
Media quoted fire officials as saying that freight services through the area had been halted as a precaution.
No damages to homes had been reported.
