WASHINGTON - On the same day that President Donald Trump signed into law the Uighur Human Rights Policy Act, details emerged on Wednesday (June 17) about how he had allegedly told Chinese President Xi Jinping to proceed with the Uighur detention camps in 2019.

Such a disconnect between Mr Trump's words and his actions, as former national security adviser John Bolton has it in his tell-all, is an incoherence characteristic of Mr Trump's foreign policy towards China.
