SAN FRANCISCO – On the evening of Jan 24, top technology executives gathered in Washington to attend a screening of Melania, a documentary produced by Amazon about the first lady, Mrs Melania Trump. Among them was Mr Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon; Mr Tim Cook, CEO of Apple; and Ms Lisa Su, CEO of chipmaker AMD.
Back in Silicon Valley, the scene was very different.
