WASHINGTON - Billionaire and philanthropist Michael Bloomberg may be bringing a formidable war chest, name recognition and a brand of centrist politics into the crowded Democratic field with his official candidacy announced on Sunday (Nov 24), but it will be a tough task for him to unseat the party's current front runners.
The wider American public may well be fascinated by billionaires, as Mr Bloomberg fared well in a Morning Consult poll two weeks ago that asked voters to choose between him and incumbent Republican President Donald Trump.
