PARIS – Coordinated acts of sabotage that crippled France’s high-speed railway network just as the Olympic Games were set to begin on July 26 appear to have been the work of radical leftists, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said on July 29.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the pre-dawn attacks, which resulted in travel chaos hours before the opening ceremony of the Olympics. No arrests have been made so far.
