DUBAI - On the outskirts of Dubai, a 1.2km-long sprawling mall in the shape of a dragon stands proof of the growing relationship between the United Arab Emirates and China.

Dragon Mart, which opened in 2004, is China's biggest trading hub outside the mainland, selling Chinese goods from textiles and trinkets to the latest tech gadgets.
