TEL AVIV – When Mr Abraham Moses, 75, learnt that the man who was convicted of killing his wife and son more than three decades ago would be freed, he embraced his two surviving children and wept.

But “to receive the living back”, he said in an interview on Oct 12, “it’s time we do this deed”.
