Things are looking up for Malaysia's economy, and perhaps for the man who has steered it for the past 26 months - Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Aziz.
Last Friday, when Bank Negara Malaysia announced the first quarter growth number, it reported that the US$360 billion (S$499 billion) economy had expanded 5 per cent in the three months to March 31, faster than expected.
