As Indonesia gears up for

a general election in four months’ time,

the government’s anti-graft drive has been picking up speed, but those targeted appear to be mostly politicians and officials from the opposition camp, or those who support them.

Observers have raised suspicions that the administration of President Joko Widodo is cherry-picking.
