KIEV - A carpark in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, swelled up and exploded on Monday (May 29) after an underground water pipe burst.
The dramatic blast, captured on closed-circuit television, did not injure anyone.
CCTV footage shows a woman walking past as asphalt and sludge were thrown up a few metres high, but reports said that she was unharmed.
The video soon went viral on social media.
Local reports say the water reached as high as seven floors and caused serious damage to cars and property.
The streets were flooded with muddy water.
Pressure tests were being conducted, reports said.
