LOS ANGELES, April 2 - U.S. Vice President JD Vance will visit Hungary and hold bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Viktor Orban from April 7-8, the White House announced Thursday.
Reuters was the first to report the planned trip last month.
Vance will visit Budapest and deliver remarks, the White House said in a statement.
The visit comes days ahead of Hungary's April 12 election, which is set to be Orban's toughest since he seized power in 2010. REUTERS
