ODESA, Ukraine – When she hears explosions, Ms Tetiana Rybak does the only thing she can: She lies in her bed and waits.
Ms Rybak cannot walk, and cannot go to the shelter. Recently, she asked a social worker to tape over the windows of her apartment with festive red gift wrap, old military posters and a version of the Lord’s Prayer.
