LONDON – London’s Lord Mayor begins a visit to Singapore on Monday, determined to improve financial links between the British capital and wealth managers in the Republic.
“Singapore is successfully positioning itself as an important global financial hub in Asia. It is, therefore, a compelling partner for London and the United Kingdom as a whole,” Mr Nicholas Lyons, a veteran banker, told The Straits Times in an exclusive interview.
