Croatia became the latest hot spot for the European Union migrant crisis, as a flood of refugees prompted the country to shut down seven of its eight border crossings with Serbia on Thursday (Sept 17). More than 11,000 migrants have entered Croatia from Serbia over the last two days, after Hungary sealed its border with the latter earlier this week.
