PARIS - The government of President Emmanuel Macron will form a special parliamentary commission aimed at breaking the gridlock over controversial immigration bill, its spokesman said on Tuesday after lawmakers rejected the draft law in a surprise move.
Speaking to journalists after a regular cabinet meeting, Government Spokesman Olivier Veran said the commission will be put in place 'as fast as possible' with the aim of finding a compromise with opposition lawmakers on draft law. REUTERS
