LONDON – United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken has hailed ties with Britain as among America’s closest.

Arriving in London immediately after

his talks with China’s top leaders in Beijing,

Mr Blinken told a news conference on Tuesday that the US and Britain “are in full alignment” on “virtually everything”. “We simply could not ask for a better partner than the United Kingdom,” America’s top diplomat added.
