UNITED STATES (Reuters) - A curious radio signal picked up by a Russian telescope stirs talk of extraterrestrials.

Last year, Russia's Academy of Science reportedly picked up a signal originating from a star in the Hercules Constellation roughly 95 light years away.

The Russians apparently stayed quiet about it until finally sharing the news with scientists at Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence, or SETI, an international institute.
