SYDNEY - Before he was appointed Australia’s Ambassador to Washington, former prime minister Kevin Rudd – a seasoned observer of international affairs – delivered some biting assessments of Donald Trump, describing him as America’s “most destructive president”, “nuts”, and a “traitor to the West”.
But Mr Rudd has since changed his tone, sending a message in recent weeks that a second Trump presidency would be “perfectly” manageable.
