LIMA (REUTERS) - It wasn't quite the kind of visit from Santa these suspected drug traffickers in Peru were expecting.
The Santas in this case are armed anti-drug squad officers.
Their target was a house they believed was being used as a centre to distribute narcotics to criminal gangs and users alike in the capital, Lima.
Four men have been arrested, all of them related, according to local media reports.
Police say they discovered more than 4,500 cocaine paste wrappings in three houses.
The officer in charge of the raid says the use of disguises in such operations helps boost the element of surprise.
