SINGAPORE - Technology trade show Comex opens on Thursday (Sept 3) at the Suntec Exhibition and Convention Centre. It is Singapore's largest IT, digital, mobile and consumer electronics exhibition.

The 22nd edition of the annual exhibition will take place until Sunday from noon to 9pm daily.

This year's edition will feature the debut of a trade-in programme at Comex and will cover more product categories than during the IT Show in March, including monitors and desktop PCs in addition to laptops, smartphones and tablets, GPS and gaming consoles. The trade-in programme allows visitors to trade in their old or faulty gadgets for cash vouchers to be used at Comex.

Visitors can trade-in their gadgets at the entrances of Halls 402 and 403 on Level 4.

Gaming enthusiasts can challenge themselves at popular titles such as Dota2, Counterstrike GO, Alliance of Valiant Arms and Fifa 15 at the Gamex pavilion, located at Hall 605 on level 6.

Other attractions for consumers at the trade show include auctions, a tech showcase, as well as a lucky draw with prizes such as $12,388 in cash. This year, participants need only spend or deposit a minimum of $50 - as opposed to a minimum expenditure of $100 in previous years - to qualify for the lucky draw.
