SINGAPORE - The pressure of using commercial cloud technologies has never been so intense for governments until the Covid-19 pandemic hit.
Commercial cloud services - offered by players including Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Alibaba - initially offer only cost savings as governments need not buy and install dedicated hardware and software to host their tech developments.
