SINGAPORE - Mr Koh Beng Liang, 44, is the developer behind the viral DJ Beng lohei app that has been making the rounds ahead of Chinese New Year.

The free Web-based app allows users to tap their smartphone screens to play recordings of traditional auspicious exclamations that accompany the tossing of yusheng - as such shouting has been banned here due to the risk of spreading Covid-19.
