There were cheers - and jeers - when then US President Donald Trump was banned from his loudest online megaphone, Twitter, after the Capitol building in Washington was stormed early last month.
Mr Trump also lost the ability to post on other social media accounts as platforms like Facebook and Google's YouTube took steps to either ban or suspend him, a move Twitter chief Jack Dorsey claimed was not coordinated.
