Singtel's three-month-old Gomo mobile plan, the incumbent telco's answer to the spate of cheap mobile plans being offered by mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) here, will get a data roaming option on Friday.

The option fixes a glaring omission in the SIM-only postpaid mobile plan, allowing it to better compete with Giga, a similar low-cost mobile sub-brand from StarHub that was launched last Thursday.
