The Samsung Galaxy Fold, the first foldable phone from a mainstream manufacturer, was sold out in Singapore on its first day of sale last Wednesday, repeating the feat of its local launch in South Korea earlier this month.
Samsung declined to reveal how many units it sold, but said thousands here had shown interest in buying the $3,088 device. Between 3,000 and 4,000 phones were sold in the initial batch in South Korea, according to the Business Korea magazine.
