SINGAPORE - Telco M1 has released the prices of Apple's new iPhones, which will be on sale here next Friday. The pricier phones are accompanied by pricier mobile subscription plans.

According to the telco's website, the basic iPhone 6S 16GB model will go for $570 with its i-Lite+ plan that now costs $42 a month, or $1 more. Its i-Max plan also costs $1 more, or $102 a month, although the price of its entry-level $28-a-month plan stays the same.

The phone is $45 more than what the iPhone 6 16GB model cost at launch last year under the i-Lite+ plan.

Without a mobile plan, the iPhone 6S 16GB model will retail for $1,048 - which is $50 more than the 16GB iPhone 6 model. The iPhone 6S Plus 16GB model will retail for $1,218, or $70 more than the 16GB version of the iPhone 6 Plus.
