SINGAPORE - Some M1 customers experienced difficulties in accessing mobile data on Wednesday (Oct 14) morning.

The telecom company posted a statement on Facebook at about 7.30am, apologising to customers and said that it was rectifying the issue.

In an update at 8.18am, M1 said the mobile data service for the affected customers had been fully restored. Customers were advised to restart their mobile devices.

Some customers said they were unable to get through M1's customer service hotline, while others were unhappy that M1 chose to inform them about the disruption on Facebook, when there was no mobile data service.
