SINGAPORE - Those electronic waste, or e-waste, collection bins peppered throughout the island appear to be working - Singaporeans are increasingly turning in their gadgets for recycling.

Telcos Singtel and StarHub, which run their own e-waste recycling programmes, tell The Straits Times they have seen a huge growth in the number of electronic devices collected in their collection bins.
