Playing to spark a Resurgence in local e-sports

Resurgence's name is also the organisation's mission: it wants to provide the second wind for the flagging local e-sports scene.

The two-year-old entity's strategy has thus been to invest broadly in Singaporean e-sports, with 12 teams over nine games on its roster. It is an expensive strategy that may not net a return for some years, if at all. But Resurgence founder and chief executive officer Jayf Soh believes the outlay is worth it.
