AI and 5G the dominant themes at IFA 2019

BERLIN - Artificial intelligence (AI) and 5G continue to drive tech conversations this year, as evidenced by the flurry of announcements around both technolgies at IFA - Europe's largest consumer electronics and home appliances trade show - in Berlin last week.

Among the AI-related announcements were those from tech giant Amazon, which partnered German consumer electronics firm Grundig to launch the world's first smart television running Amazon's Fire TV platform with hands-free voice control.
