BEIJING - Usain Bolt may be the fastest man in the world, but he could not outrun a Segway after winning the 200m gold at the Athletics World Championships in Beijing.

Moments after beating American Justin Gatlin to the gold medal, Bolt was mowed down by a runaway Segway driven by a cameraman.

Focusing his attention on capturing Bolt's victory celebrations, the cameraman failed to notice that one of the Segway's wheels was about to run over the leg of a track on the ground, sending the scooter careening out of control and straight into Bolt.

Luckily, the track star escaped injury, and reportedly laughed off the incident and continued his victory lap.
