Race 1 (1,600m)

(2) REECE’S WISH finished second in all three starts. She can get her head in front.

(3) BLOOD OF EDEN, (5) MASTER’S ROSE and (4) UTSAAH have the form and experience to make life difficult for the selection.

Race 2 (1,600m)

(9) GIMMETHESPOTLIGHT outran market expectations when fourth on debut. He would have come from that and can improve over this extended trip.

(11) KNOWMORE progressed well going 1,400m and he could be better suited over the extra 200m.

(4) WORLD ORDER and (6) INDIAN SPICE can make their presence felt.

Race 3 (2,000m)

(12) ASIAH’S TIARA and (2) HEROIC ACT have solid form, especially over this trip. The latter’s sex allowance could give her the edge.

(13) HAT AND HEELS could play a leading role over this extended trip under a 4kg claimer.

(5) KAVOMOLKA could have a say in the outcome.

Race 4 (2,000m)

Stablemates (3) FUTURE DATE and (2) FREE IN SEATTLE are consistent fillies with proven form over this trip and at this level.

(8) AZALEAS FOR ALL fits a similar profile but is engaged to run at an earlier meeting, so her participation must be monitored.

(5) ANCIENT WISDOM is another genuine each-way chance.

Race 5 (2,000m)

(4) GRACE’S KISS finished third over 1,600m last time and can be better suited over this extended trip.

Class dropper (1) LADY BLUNT stretches out to this trip for the first time and will be aided by barrier 1 as well as her rider’s 1.5kg allowance.

(5) LITTLEMISSSPLENDID warrants respect.

(3) ALTA CAPITANA improved with blinkers last time and is another with scope to improve over this trip with the head gear retained.

Race 6 (1,200m)

The versatile (2) MAX THE MAGICIAN has maintained consistency over slightly further recently, but the drop to this trip is not of concern. Huge chance.

(4) SECRET CHORD finished second in a minor feature last time. He carries a two-point penalty for that effort but is clearly in good shape, so he has to be taken seriously.

Maturing 3YO (7) MISTER WILSON and last-start scorer (8) IT’S PERSONAL are competitive too.

Race 7 (1,450m)

(2) TIN PAN ALLEY had legitimate excuses for his no-show in a Grade 2 last time. He should fare better in these calmer waters and is unbeaten over the track and trip.

(3) PRESSONREGARDLESS is at the top of his game and can remain competitive under a five-point penalty.

(1) GREATERIX would have benefited from his comeback run and could make his presence felt.

(7) BOB’S YOUR UNCLE did not finish far behind in his last two starts. Watch him.

Race 8 (1,450m)

(7) LAST CAR TO PASS, (4) SONIC JET and (3) CEUTA bounced back to form last time and could pose a threat.

(11) ARASHI is not to be taken lightly either.

Race 9 (1,450m)

(4) OPERA FAN won a similar contest last time and the resultant four-point penalty is negated by her rider’s 1.5kg allowance, so another bold bid is expected.

Class dropper (1) BRIGHT AND BRAZEN should fare better against same-sex opposition with the help of her rider’s 1.5kg claim.

(2) PLAY WITH THE WIND have the means to get involved, as does (7) FAIR PROPOSAL after an encouraging return to form recently at a higher level.
