Treasurethe Moment (Damian Lane) winning the Group 1 Memsie Stakes (1,400m) at Caulfield on Aug 30. The Matt Laurie-trained mare could settle for only the minors at her next three outings at Group level and will aim to bounce back in the Group 1 Champions Mile (1,600m) at Flemington on Nov 8.

Follow topic:
1 Mr Brightside
Brilliant miler who finished second to Ceolwulf in the Group 1 King Charles III Stakes (1,609m) at Randwick on Oct 18 at last start when wide. Has a good record against Pride Of Jenni and is 5-2-1 from 11 starts at track and distance. Prominent again.
2 Ceolwulf
Has won up to 2,000m and is a last-start winner in the Group 1 King Charles III Stakes (1,609m) on Oct 18. In the mix at his best as he tackles first interstate race.
3 Pericles
Joined in at the 300m mark in the Group 1 King Charles III Stakes (1,609m), but could not finish off for a 2.13L fourth behind Ceolwulf and Mr Brightside on Oct 18. Can give cheek at odds.
4 Lake Forest
English visitor who finished 7.17L last in the Group 1 King Charles III Stakes (1,609m) on Oct 18, when under pressure and could not finish off. Is better than that but yet to win at 1,600m.
5 Steparty
Yet to win at the distance. Last two have been at Group 3 and Group 2 1,400m level for a third and fourth. Difficult to endorse.
6 Von Hauke
Backed up a solid Flemington Listed 1,400m third with a 1L victory in the Group 2 Crystal Mile (1,600m) at Moonee Valley on Oct 25. Needs to go to another level to win this.
7 Pride Of Jenni
Back to her front-running best with 4.5L win in the Group 1 Empire Rose Stakes (1,600m) at Flemington on Nov 1. The one to beat if she backs up okay. Has won three at track and distance.
8 Stefi Magnetica
Last-start winner of the Group 2 The Invitation (1,400m) at Randwick on Oct 25. Will appreciate the distance increase. Ran home strongly for a 0.33L win and will be competitive in this.
9 Treasurethe Moment
High-quality mare who has not been out of the money in her 15 starts. Was gallant in the Group 1 Cox Plate (2,040m) at Moonee Valley with an on-pace 1.6L third behind Via Sistina on Oct 25. Tactics will be interesting but she has a win at track/distance.
10 Leica Lucy
Blinkers first time last start and battled on well for a distant 4.5L second to Pride Of Jenni in the Group 1 Empire Rose Stakes (1,600m) on Nov 1. Is honest and could be placed again.
