SINGAPORE - Four years ago, Goi Rui Xuan and Wong Xin Ru were volunteers at the SEA Games where they witnessed national women's table tennis players Lin Ye and Zhou Yihan upset teammates Feng Tianwei and Yu Mengyu 4-3 to clinch the doubles gold at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The Singaporean duo are plotting their own sensational upset at the SEA Games in the Philippines this month, as they make their debut in the women's doubles alongside defending champions Feng and Yu.
