Table Tennis: Singapore win three golds and one silver at South-east Asian Junior and Cadet Championships

SINGAPORE - The Republic's Under-15 table tennis duo of Dominic Koh and Pang Yew En Koen won the Cadet Boys' Doubles at the ongoing South East Asia Junior & Cadet Table Tennis Championships on Thursday (June 15) at the Toa Payoh Sports Hall.

The hosts were also crowned winners in the Cadet Boys' Team event, beating Causeway rivals Malaysia 3-0 and won the silver in the Junior (U-18) Boys' Team event after losing 0-3 to Thailand.

The girls were also on fire as they won gold in the Junior Girls' Team event after beating Malaysia 3-1.

Held across four days, the event boasts over 100 participants from seven countries. The tournament was last held in Singapore in 2002.

The winners and runners-up in each of the Junior Boys' and Junior Girls' Team events will qualify for the Asian Junior Championships to be held in Ansan, South Korea from June 29 to July 4 this year.
