Liverpool won their 17th game from 19, beating Real Madrid – easily, too – for the first time since 2009, having been winless in their previous six meetings with the Spanish giants when Jurgen Klopp was at the helm. Arne Slot’s start to his managerial tenure continues to defy all expectations, and his predecessors at such a historic club.
