SINGAPORE – As Olympic and Paralympic fever hots up, Team Singapore’s athletes have been honoured with a mural in Kampong Glam by Sport Singapore, in collaboration with local graffiti artist Ceno.

The public are invited to participate in a social media contest by taking pictures of themselves at the mural, which features archer Nur Syahidah Alim, sprint queen Shanti Pereira, kitefoiler Maximilian Maeder, badminton star Loh Kean Yew and swimmer Yip Pin Xiu.

Contest winners will get to attend a meet and greet session with Singapore’s athletes. For details, visit

The Republic is represented by 23 athletes in 11 sports at the July 26-Aug 11 Olympics, with at least nine athletes from five sports at the Aug 28-Sept 8 Paralympics.
